In 2009, Deutsche Bank began an ambitious project to migrate server and application monitoring from Tivoli to Nimsoft which has become one of the largest and most diverse Nimsoft domains in the world. I was the lead engineer in this pioneering project and the solution now caters for 35k servers and 17k databases globally. This year I am leading a project to install CA IT Asset Management, initially aimed at performing software discovery for software license management. This unique solution will leverage the existing Nimsoft technology to deliver the scanners, control the scans and collect the data.
