­Developed and implemented a key Internal Financial Control Framework and Turnaround Strategy for the Container Depot Division.­ Played a key role in the strategic acquisition of a Container Depot in Nacala, Northern Mozambique.­ Instrumental in the USD 30 Mil Development of the Maputo Intermodal Container Depot (MICD) in Mozambique, which commenced operations in June 2011 in the Maputo Port.­ Project-managed the flagship ZAR 190 Mil Intermodal Development in Denver (Gauteng, SA), which opened in June 2015.­ Directed major upgrades to existing facilities at Edwin Swales (ZAR 6 Mil) and Maitland (ZAR 7 Mil), and the Kempston Road Relocation.­ Executive Leadership & Management: As the new CFO in the Executive Management team, assumed a key strategic role in overall leadership of the following National Divisions: Warehousing Operations, Container Depots, Container Transportation, Container Sales and Leasing, and Maputo Intermodal Container Depot (a joint venture between Grindrod and DP World).­ Responsible for of all Shared Services functions including Finance, HR, IT, Systems, Risk, Procurement and Projects (June 2010 to May 2015) | Directed a specialised focus on managing Finance, Procurement and Risk (June 2015 to March 2017) | Throughout the 7-year period, acted as key Business Partner and Advisor to the Management Team, assuring achievement of corporate goals and objectives.

Promoted to COO to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and Key Metrics to measure operational efficiencies and effectiveness, leading to enhanced client retention and new business growth.­ Created and rolled out an extensive Central Asset Replacement Programme and optimised processes for improved profitability, time and cost savings.­ Led operations across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, comprising: Warehousing and container depot footprint of 500,000 sqm | Fleet of 400 Trucks, Trailers, Forklifts and Container Handlers | Workforce of 600 employees nationwide.
