Managed the Dekalb, Sycamore, and Saint Charles West locations. Also worked with tobacco distributors to order tobacco products and with alcohol distributors to order specialty beer, wine, and liquor per customer request. I was also part of the main team that trained new employees and helped educate them on the various products and services we provided. I also temporarily took part in deliveries both large and small and served as a bartender for weddings and company events.

Sold product and educated customers on the various products we offered and the correct way to handle and prepare them. Also prepared specialty orders for individual customers along with large holiday orders and preparing some of the raw food products for sale. Gained experience in customer service and acquired knowledge and skills involved in the raw food industry.

My main role was split between DIY (do it yourself) part sales and commercial part sales to auto shops in the surrounding areas. DIY involved selling auto-parts and educating customers to ensure they knew exactly what they were purchasing and ensure they knew what they would be doing. This also gave the opportunity to up sell higher quality parts for an increased cost which reflects on our store and me personally. Commercial part sales involved working with auto repair businesses in the surrounding areas and supplying parts to them. This allowed me to build personal relationships with business owners in the area which gave our store an advantage over others. I entered this industry with no experience but left with knowledge not only of automotive's but the automotive industry.
