Early 2010, Link Telecommunications support contract ceased.Kordia Solutions was successful in winning the maintenance and support contract for the SAGRN network.Began work at Kordia as Snr field tech supporting the entire SAGRN network including Mobile Data, Trunked Voice, Paging and Microwave networks. 2016 - Moved into Senior Project Staging Technician role for the upgrade of the GRN to full P25 capability. Successfully built, tested and staged Voice, Paging and DC systems for over 170 sites.Last sites completed staging end July 2018.Looking now to reduce hours, to transition into retirement!!!

Link Telecommunications was successful in winning part of the South Australian Government Radio Network in a sub-contractor arrangement with Telstra.Totally involved in the design, building, management and maintenance of the SAGRN Paging network.At the time, it was the largest single frequency, contiguous coverage, wide area simulcast paging network in the southern hemisphere, involving 157 radio paging sites and covering 95% of the populated areas of South Australia.Involved in maintenance and repairs of all facets of the network including PABX, computers, encoders, RF distribution and remote transmitters, and AC / DC power systems.Met all KPI's for maintenance, repairs, reports and meetings for the entire duration of contract (11 Years) On-call support for Central NOCC equipment and the entire coverage region of the network.

Seconded from Motorola to Instapage P/L to as field tech to manage their paging transmitter network, due to previous experience at Motorola. Promoted to Technical Manager in charge of all equipment including PABX, ACD, encoders, AC and DC power systems, Satellite systems, and RF networks.Instapage eventually taken over by Link Telecommunications, and assumed technical roles with similar responsibilities, but on larger scale. Performed field technical repairs and maintenance for regional Victoria, Adelaide & south Australia, and southern NSW.Involved in the tender process for the SA Government Radio Network from April 1997 to March 1999.

Began life as bench tech at Motorola factory at Mulgrave. Moved to Adelaide in 1983 as field service tech working alone. Eventually moved to Service Manager position in charge of 8 field techs.Involved in installation projects on Groote Eylandt, Yulara, and the Moomba to Stony point Microwave install.Returned to Melbourne to Motorola's Customer Project group
