I currently have over 14 years experience in the mechanical side of the offshore/onshore industry. Specialising in diesel injection engines plant machinery and centrifugal pumps, ensuring that all aspects of working operations are maintained to their optimum performance. Although I am currently skilled I am always willing to learn and expand my knowledge. I have a positive attitude and enjoy working outdoors. Having already worked offshore I am used to the offshore lifestyle, and certainly not phased by hard labour or flights to and from my place of work. During my course of time I have developed a wide range of skills including process of analysis, the ability to work under pressure and self motivation. I carry out my work focusing on primarily health and safety. I've acquired a vast knowledge of electronics, welding, pneumatics and hydraulics in my time. I've previously carried out major work overhauling centrifugal pumps and plant machinery. I have a wealth of experience in function testing offshore machinery and carrying out preventive maintenance. I have great understanding of Risk Assessment procedures, The Permit to work system and Lock out tag out. (LOTO) I've worked on some high profile operations including, jacket installations on semisubmersibles with Heerema and Saipem in the Golden Eagle and Claire Ridge fields. Also worked on windfarms with GOC and been a part of the salvage operation of the Costa Concordia cruise liner, on the coast of Giglio with Titan Salvage. Clients I have worked for:* Conoco Phillips
