Key Responsibilities – -National review of asset condition data, maintenance plans and budgets.-Identifying and prioritising capital works budget requirements.-Major capital projects tender evaluations, progressive inspections of new build projects throughout construction, handover, defects period and beyond, with inspection findings incorporated into design improvement recommendations.-Ensuring smooth communication with and between internal and external stake holders.-Acting as the subject matter expert for group facilities engineering challenges.Significant Accomplishments – -Developed and implemented a strategic asset care solution for NZ$1billion of distribution centre assets across New Zealand.-Responded to seismic compliance legislative changes by creating a national compliance picture, implementing risk mitigation plans and development and approval of 5 year NZ$18m replacement plan.
