• Design and Estimation for all Mechanical services. (HVAC). • Creation and issue of Health and Safety documentation Inc SSoW and RAMS.• Site Surveys and problem solving on HVAC systems.• Co-operation and communication with supply chain.• Understanding of associated electrical services• Commercial acumen to ensure tenders are financially sound• Use of proprietary ‘Estimation’ software• Issuing/updating tender documents via an electronic control system• Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with Company QA policies.• Working in an integrated M&E team

Employed as Mechanical HVAC Engineering specialist in a multidisciplinary organisation, responsibilities include:- Working independently and as part of a team to develop scheme designs to detailed design.- HVAC design according to BS codes, Euro-codes, American codes and first principles; using hand calculations and computer software.- Supervising, checking and validating the production of design and construction drawings.- Production of reports to key stakeholders, including client third party reviewers.- Checking of reports and calculations carried out by others.- Representing the company in customer facing design reviews, as required by the nuclear industry.- Expediting the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery and parts at various fabrication facilities across the country.

• Effective Management and control of contracts from sale through to commissioning and after-sales. • Sole responsibility for design and development of contracts including CAD design and use of Accalc, HEVACOMP and Daikins VRV Express. • Attendance at site meetings, liaising with clients/end users and third party contractors (Architects, Builders Electricians etc).• Creation and issue of Health and Safety documentation for a wide range of tasks including waste removal, site installation, crane lifts and other hazardous procedures. • Responsible for Information technology within the office including hardware upgrades, purchasing of required software and maintenance/support.• Responsible for the development/upgrades of equipment as well as the training of personnel both on site and within the office structure.
