After gaining a number of years' experience in many areas of design visualisation, particularly architectural, in 2011 I set up Source Visualisation, a 3D visualisation studio based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.Working alongside architects, developers and designers, the business is growing as we create top-quality images and videos on-time and on-budget, with the quality of the service we provide consistently exceeding our clients' expectations!I'm responsible for all the images and videos that leave the company, and I also deal with business development and client relationship management.

Working in-house, I helped architects and technicians visualise their design proposals in 3D at a critical early design stage. I also offered visualisation services to clients to help them understand their proposals, to support planning applications and to help in the marketing of properties off-plan.In my six years at Watson Batty, I honed and expanded my abilities with 3ds Max and Photoshop, rendering with Vray for all but the first year, and also quickly learned how to use SketchUp to quickly model proposals as part of the design process.In addition, I was also responsible for the look and quality of all presentation material leaving the company, from coloured floor plans to the company's website.

At SDA I worked alongside the senior visualiser, supporting the design team by creating images mainly of car showroom proposals. As the senior visualiser had previously worked in the computer gaming industry, I learned from him how to model very efficiently while still creating a quality CG image.

I was part of a small team of visualisers creating images and videos for a variety of different projects, from schools to retail developments, often with very tight deadlines.
