“I like to capture images that are challenging, places that captivate me and subjects that surround me”I am a Caboolture based photographer who has always enjoyed taking photos; my interest and passion for photography has grown tremendously since purchasing my first DSLR many years ago. I enjoy shooting a wide range of subjects and styles including macro; my favourite subjects to shoot in my spare time are landscapes and birds.After quite some time as an enthusiast photographer I decided to start trading as a business when some exciting opportunities came my way. My focuses are Real Estate photography, Sky Panel images for Relaxation Therapy, and social photography for events and functions. Over the years I have challenged myself through projects, most notably is the P365 daily photo challenge where I took a photo based on a set daily subject/topic. I am continually adding to my ongoing projects such as Sky Panels and Australian Birds and will be adding a few more projects to the mix for 2015.Lately I have taken an interest in digital video, this is a whole other kettle of fish with new gear, new techniques and new thinking. I'm looking forward to sharing some new projects and ideas in this genre. My collection of vintage cameras is ever increasing and includes not only cameras but photographic accessories, projectors, film reels and classic Viewmasters and story reels. I am always on the look out for vintage gear to add to the collection and some of it still gets used, I enjoy shooting film and love the quality and appearance of traditional photography.
