These systems connect to the IBM DB2 mainframes to provide clients with airline availability, hotel booking information, etc.Other project work has included creating and implementing a backup strategy for our servers using Legato and liasing with our Tools Team to setup BMC Patrol to monitor our servers and in conjunction with the web team fully automating the web loads which had previously been a completely manual operation.Also responsible for putting in place disaster recovery for our systems in Munich & Miami.Required to provide NT support to other teams and provide solutions to their problems or requirements, which has also resulted in me quite often having to perform substantial NT scripting.
