I started Pro Video at Wex. A motivated and passionate Professional Video specialist with 18 years of experience serving the shooting requirements of freelance camerapeople, independent filmmakers, production companies and broadcasters. Having started in the industry when cameras were on the shoulder and shot to tape, I’ve worked through each key change in the professional video market: The move to solid-state, the rise of large-sensor digital cinema cameras and the “DSLR revolution” evolving into the Super 35mm camcorder market, as well as being fully across how current mirrorless standards have become the go-to in low-cost run ‘n’ gun filmmaking. Throughout this time I’ve also gathered extensive experience and expertise in external recorders, LED lighting, the latest production value-adding camera grip and more.My aim is to provide the best possible customer journey for professional image makers, whether they’re a photographer branching into video, a mirrorless filmmaker making content for social feeds, a branded content creator shooting with large-sensor camcorders, a lighting cameraperson making broadcast documentary, or an experienced DoP shooting high-end narrative and commercial work. Beyond that focus on individual customers and accounts, I am passionate about helping retailers become the ultimate destination for today’s creatives and helping manufacturers understand the evolving market.
