In 2005 I graduated from USAALS where I became an Aircraft Power Plant Mechanic, taught on the T700, T55, T53, and R3 series engines. After almost 10 years in the U.S. Army, I earned the respect and admiration of being one of the most knowledgeable and dependable Power Plant Mechanics in any shop. In my time in the Army, I supported 60, 64, and 47 series aircraft with phase and flight line maintenance. After the Army I began working as an aviation contractor in the field of supporting T700 series engines and 60, 64 series aircraft. Working at AVUM and AVIM levels with limited Depot work. While working overseas I have shared and taught countless foreign nationals for them to be better and more knowledgeable Power Plant Mechanics. When I worked at NAS Fallon, I gained experience on the T401C series engines, and SH-60 aircraft. Then at the CCAD I worked with multiple people and sharing my experience and knowledge with not just other mechanics but also Technical Inspectors and Management. Even helping the work lead make better decisions on the work required for sub-assemblies of the engines and being consulted on maintenance of assembled engines reducing man hours spent. Currently I am an advisor for the Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) in Semarang, Indonesia. Teaching and advising their military about all the aspects of the T700 and supporting logistics systems for the AH-64E program. After receiving training on Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Arrangement (CLSSA) System training, I was more equipped to assist, advise and train multiple TNI officers in the logistics field for their program. My goal is to get my Bachelors degree in Logistics and Transportation Management with the concentration in Air Cargo. Another goal is to get my Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P). Once I accomplish these goals, I believe I will be a valued asset to any company I work for.
