Responsible for the preparation of the entire annual budget, preparing all submissions to Head Office, and presenting annually to the European Controller in Madrid, responsible for all monthly reporting and commentary on performance, overseeing the accounting for a £120M redevelopment of the Centre, quarterly reporting and liaising with the bank in relation to the meeting of loan covenants, liaising with tenants on a regular basis to discuss issues/plans/arrears etc., various monthly and quarterly financial reports both for the European head office and our Corporate Head Office in Montreal, cost monitoring, the authorising of all payments, Cash flow monitoring, funding requests to head office, diligence on potential tenants, and various other ad hoc tasks. The role also involves a fair amount of travel, in terms of meetings both internally, at our Madrid, Paris and Canadian offices, and with 3rd party advisors, such as our London based tax advisors.
