• Handled the end-to-end novation workflow for six European based Commodity divestments (150+ clients, 4,000+ trades). Involving client outreach, drafting & signing novation agreements, agreeing language, and providing booking instructions for trade control.• For four US based Commodity divestments (75+ clients, 1,000+ trades), worked with Legal & Sales to track ongoing novations and assist with ad hoc confirmation related questions.• Oversaw and worked with a team of two in London to assist with Confirmation related actions for two Interest Rate Derivative divestments (1,700+ clients, 50,000+ trades).• Performed a business analyst role, documenting the E-2-E processes associated with novations for each divestment and ensuring that all parties were aware of their roles.• Tracked the Non-Core Divestment Novation process globally, capturing novations via a self-created Excel & SharePoint tracker and chairing weekly meetings with global stakeholders (Compliance, Legal, Operations, Projects, Sales, Trade Control and Trading).

• Responsible for generating, signing and chasing our confirmations for US clients trading Agricultural, Coal, Emissions, Freight, Index, Metal, Oil and Power & Gas products.• Worked on multiple I.T projects to increase the Straight Through Process ability of our systems and the confirmation templates used within Commodities globally, ultimately leading to a 40% uptick in STP rate within the US team. Managing the UAT phases globally, creating test scripts, managing the queries & issues arising and releasing the project for i.T to upload into our live environment.• Under my own initiative, assisted our largest OTC Commodities Derivative client in moving to an electronic matching platform. Working with Compliance, Legal & Sales colleagues internally and counterparts at the client to set them up on the platform over a three month period. • Received three awards as part of the Altitude program recognizing work that goes above and beyond what’s required to meet Barclays values (two local, one regional).

• Responsible for generating and marking up incoming client confirmations for the European Power & Gas team.• Granted signatory rights after my first year, allowing me to assist managers signing confirmations that colleagues produced.• Dealt with queries from clients, brokers and legal/front-office teams on a daily basis regarding trade bookings and confirmation language.• Performed a Trade Control function with daily reconciliation and verification of OTC trade bookings against broker recaps or trade blotters.• Produced Electronic Confirmation Agreements (ECA's) to allow us to electronically match products on EFETnet.• Assisted in UAT for our in-house confirmation system plus performed additional weekend work post go-live to ensure the team's workload was manageable.
