Carrying out energy loss surveys for Steam & Condensate Systems, Boilers, Compressed Air & Gas Systems and Chilled Water Systems. Supporting 57 sites worldwide reducing wasted energy and Co2 emissions.• Carrying out review meetings, covering issues such as – Adherence to KPI’s, report turnaround, cost benefits, quick wins, forward development, continuous improvement etc.• Delivering on site training for new Monition engineers ensuring Monition standards are adhered to and procedures are followed. • Providing technical support and advice to both Monition engineers and the customers engineers including continuous improvement sessions.

- Home based, working throughout the UK and worldwide for a specialist condition monitoring and reliability service company. Working within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, including pulp & paper, waste, chemical and food & beverage.- Responsible for carrying out all CM duties including, Vibration Analysis, Thermal Imaging, Ultrasound, Balancing and new online installations. Listening to clients needs and setting up the most effective programme in order to reduce unwanted downtime and improve site uptime.- Imbedded engineer at a large blue chip paper making company, working 12 days a month. Responsible for all site condition monitoring covering 3 paper machines, pulp process and site services. Working closely with the site maintenance manager and area leaders reporting defective equipment. Involved with the planning of site shut work to be carried out, based on equipment severity and criticality. Access to sites CMMS creating and closing off work orders.- Tasked with undertaking the analysis of equipment performance, failure data and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions.- Involved in contract renewals and progress meetings for a number of customer contracts, focusing on maintaining a high level of service while looking for ways to improve site standards and productivity.
• Working for an established condition monitoring company performing surveys, repairs and new installations throughout the UK and abroad. Main duties include :-• Thermal Imaging – Undertaking surveys on electrical, mechanical, building & insulation applications. This includes site surveys, full analysis, report writing & consultancy work. Carrying out work for the MOD on various naval vessels, performing surveys at sea over a period of 1-3 weeks in UK and foreign waters.• Vibration Analysis – Analysis carried out on rotating equipment including pumps, motors, bearings, compressors, blowers etc. Building customer databases using Emonitor software and writing full customer reports with repair recommendations.• Balancing – Carrying out balancing work on various rotors including:- Train brake discs, motor armatures, pump impellers, fan impellers, agricultural & hammer mills, both in workshop and in-situ. Advice also given on imbalance tolerances and ISO standards.• Ultrasound - Undertaking compressed air, nitrogen & steam leak surveys for energy loss cost saving. This includes tagging the leaks on site and producing a full report with images for the customer. Also used as an extra tool to assist in vibration analysis and thermographic surveys on HV equipment.
