As Section Leader, I was challenged with managing high volume assembly lines, as well as 80 Operators, 6 Lead Operators, 1 Supervisor and 1 Improvement Coordinator. Within this capacity, I successfully implemented the Mizusmashi 6-month timing plan, ensuring that 90 square meters were saved, which allowed for the implementation of an injection moulding machine. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, I oversaw all aspects of Health and Safety through identifying risks and ensuring that all processes and policies were adhered to. Additionally, I managed team appraisals, one to one assessments, recruitment, training, selection and onboarding whilst also consistently achieving KPIs and targets for production and quality.
