About Stuart Field

I have many years of financial experience, encompassing evaluating loan funds, secured and unsecured lending to individuals and businesses, especially social finance and social enterprises (mainly co-operatives), both in the UK and internationally. I am the only person in the UK with an MA in Social Banking and Social Finance. I have strong analytical skills, detailed knowledge of UK co-operative law plus a reasonable knowledge of financial and housing laws and regulations in the UK and the Netherlands. I have experience in appraising loan applications and grant applications, together with some experience in writing applications. I also translate Dutch to English to a professional standard and have experience in writing articles for magazines.
