I am a fully qualified healthcare professional, state registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (Membership No. AS01082). I have been a Full Member of the British Association for Music Therapy since 1996.I have worked in the NHS on a permanent basis since 1999.I provide specialised music therapy interventions to adolescents with complex healthcare needs. I have worked extensively with people who are detained under the Mental Health Act in in-patient secure hospital settings.I have extensive experience of mental health and social care in a wide range of hospital, residential and educational settings across all age groups, and have facilitated arts therapies treatment programmes for a wide range of individuals and groups.. My specialism is music therapy, however as an arts practitioner I have worked with a wide range of related art forms, including dance, drama, art and video.
