Biographical Note:Bringing the commercial acumen of my former employment into the fun-filled environment of an Outdoor Pursuit Centre has been liberating. What is more interesting for me though, is seeing how people from Corporate groups, Educational groups, Youth groups or families connect with the activities we offer & grow in confidence, teamwork, enthusiasm and in rising to a challenge. There’s so much evidence out there on how Outdoor Education helps to build Character & Resilience and being part of that makes the role rewarding.During my time at Sainsbury's I achieved consistent performance, growing store sales and achieving against company targets on Stock Control, Labour Controls, Customer Service & store availability for 20 consecutive Quarters, but realised it was time to move on. I recruited and trained some 100+ new employees from Customer Service Assistant to Store Manager LevelAbout me:Hon's Degree in Business Management & Retail from the University of Brighton, with notable distinctions in 'managerial forecasting' and 'business law' modules, I took a sabbatical to travel the world visiting approx 17 countries, broadening my experiences of cultural & service differences worldwide.
