At its broadest my role is to help improve the visitor experience at the Museum and to support the Museum in delivering new world class visitor-focused displays and exhibitions through effective interpretive planning. I manage a team of six Interpretation Officers and four Volunteer Coordinators. The Museum has over 600 volunteers who actively contribute to the Museum’s work in diverse ways. The volunteers make a vital contribution to the Museum's live interpretation programme by delivering 15 different tours everyday and facilitating a hands-on experience for the public. -
