I work with global clients to lead, procure, manage and coordinate bespoke multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects and property programmes from conception and project feasibility through design, regulatory consenting regimes, procurement, construction, fit-out and occupation.Current focus - Spaceport delivery (vertical and horizontal launch platforms)- Satellite manufacturing, testing global HQ and operations facilities - Airport masterplanning- Spaceport range infrastructure- Playing my small part to help customers achieve space launch capability Membership:- Spaceport Launch and Orbit Group (CAA)- Space Scotland (Scottish Space Leadership Council)- UKspace- Space Security Information Exchange (NPSA)Currently privileged to be working with a multitude of skilled and motivated individuals providing programme management, turnkey and technical services to the space sector with a focus on upstream infrastructure and spaceport delivery. This includes licensing and consents integration management to navigate the complex framework of regulations necessary to achieve space launch. I work closely with regulators, government agencies and statutory consultees with a highly collaborative approach to ensure a coordinated and straightforward licensing and consenting process. I have experience working with the CAA, UK Space Agency, Scottish Government, Scottish Development International, Scottish Enterprise and other UK government departments and agencies.Collaboration and collegiate working is the key to any successful programme and I invest heavily in fostering a strong team ethos. My career has been spent procuring, managing and leading large multidisciplinary teams quite often from very different professional backgrounds, all gathered to deliver a single mission.I have worked across many sectors, each with the their own characteristic challenges; space, industrial facilities, business parks, residential, education, grade A office space and town centres.I am member of the 500 year old trades organisation The Hammermen of Glasgow and a private pilot.
