An experienced IHO Cat A hydrographic surveyor with extensive experience of planning and conducting surveys both as part of a team but also as team lead. Experience of collecting in the field under a variety of environmental conditions has supported more technical roles drafting survey policy and guidance documentation as well as tasking units and validating data submitted to Hydrographic Office prior to exploitation on charts for SOLAS as well as wider situational awareness products for specialist defence users. More recently taking the lead as MoD and GBR principal for geospatial data standards and policy.The broader skills gained though a variety of appointments within the Royal Navy has equipped me to deal with and manage a variety of challenging situations often with a time critical deadlines.
