I use to manage a team of customer advisors and two receptionist, The team handled all calls into the business. Arranging housing repairs and inspections, dealing with rent accounts, taking payments, set up and amending direct debits, taking reports of anti-social behaviour. The receptionist performed the same tasks but on a face to face basis. my role was to manage the team to ensure the department was staffed correctly to cover the peak call volumes, carry out regular one two ones, appraisals, approving holiday requests, return to work sickness interviews and any follow up all in line with HR policy and procedure. Coaching and mentoring via call quality, working with other teams throughout the business to ensure we had the right process and procedures in place to ensure a smooth experience for the customer.
