Manager of a team of UK and Indian test resource with responsibility for William Hill's Gaming portfolio and infrastructure.Drawing on my experience from the fast paced agile Trading work space I was tasked with delivering agile practices and process as well as facilitating the expansion of our Mobile Gaming content onto the Android platform. This was undertaken in tandem with looking to increase velocity to live by defining, streamlining and optimising existing test process and forging closer links with the many third party suppliers we utilise.A significant overhaul of JIRA and Zephyr assets has been undertaken to allow for tracking of game content through their entire QA lifecycle. Automation expansion is also ongoing with the aim to have continuous integration in place for Gaming Regression tests by the end of Q2 - 2014

Manager of a team of 25 UK and US testers with responsibility for all of William Hill's Trading and Retail portfolio and infrastructure.Implemented test driven automation and process to ensure quality throughout agile delivery whilst maintaining velocity at levels acceptable to the business (200+ releases to live in rolling 18 month period).Integrated the Nevada based technology and test personnel as part of the US expansion to create a global test community within Trading and Retail. Successfully integrated and launched three sports into the US market with record trading figures achieved in two successive Superbowl weekends.Was directly responsible for shaping and improving the Trading and Retail test community through Performance Management, Appraisals and Recruitment.Created and Administered assets within the test tools Zephyr and JIRA to provide real time tracking of test progress, defect injection rates as well as providing comprehensive root cause analysis data.

Initially started with William Hill as a Shop Cashier while studying at University for my Legal Masters degree. Upon completion of the degree I was offered a District Manager position in the Cheltenham, Gloucester and Swindon area with management responsibility for 28 shops and 100+ staff that worked within them. This included setting targets, undertaking performance reviews, staffing and completing wage returns.I remained in this role until 2004 when I joined the Retail Technology Project. This had remit to deploy an EPOS System to every William Hill shop in the country and train all of the 10000+ shop in its usage. Of the 120 seconded technical trainers only 4 were offered permanent positions within the RTP team once the rollout was completed, I was one of the 4. Between 2005 and 2008 I was a member of the first recognised test team at William Hill dealing with all aspects of testing the Retail infrastructure. Be this the EPOS System, Back Office Event Creation application or physical in shop coupons.Based on my progression within this team I was offered a Senior position within the Online Test team in 2008 which had recently launched the first integrated William Hill Sportsbook.
