Semi retired. I am no longer taking on any new business consultancy commitments but retain some business interests, particularly within Industrial Personal Protective Safety Eyewear and Occupational Health and also in the supply and services to the Heritage Steam Preservation movement. I now work also doing what I enjoy most, working with veteran vehicles and a living collection and most of all with a group of talented volunteers and work colleagues. I try not to get involved in the general work politics, but concentrate on my role in helping to preserve and maintain one of the largest collection of veteran vehicles on view to the general public and in running order. The Shuttleworth Collection is also without doubt the finest collection of Edwardian and vintage aircraft worldwide with not only the oldest flying aircraft but also some of the most important from the 1920's and 1930's. www,shuttleworth.org I have a passionate interest in steam preservation and veteran cars, owning a personal collection that includes a 1937 Sentinel Steam Waggon, a 1910 Stanley Steam Car, 1912 Ford Model T and a few others.
