Thirty-seven years experience as a geologist and mining financier. Trained as a mining geologist but with experience that covers: mining and geotechnics; the preparation of Competent Person’s Reports; the preparation of independent valuations of mining companies and mineral assets; and mining finance. As a former director of RMB Resources, experience covers all stages of a mining company financing including: deal origination, structuring the financing, conducting technical due diligence, financial modelling, preparing company valuations, evaluating rates of return, preparing and delivering financing proposals for investment approval, managing loan documentation, managing the performance of loans and monitoring equity investments. Currently a founding partner and director of Tanjun Capital Limited, the investment advisor to a credit fund investing in junior and mid-tier mining companies.
