Director of SPG Drilling Ltd, specialising in quality control, processes and procedures relating to the maintenance of DD/MWD/LWD tools. Contracting with Drilling Operators to assure best possible delivery of tools by third party service providers.

Provide technical & operational support with respect to directional drilling, MWD and LWD services to the various business units as necessary. Act as technical lead for evaluation of tenders and as company's interface with associated service companies.

Primary liaison between D&M and HQ based operator management, including Tullow, BG Group and various others; High level operational understanding of client’s needs and communication with segment senior management as necessary; Keep clients up to date with latest technology and provide tender and operational advice to the various Schlumberger locations.

Responsible for tender responses, budgets, contract negotiations and client/third party relations across twenty countries; Management of technical domains and sales engineers; Helped to grow the location from a 20M$ to a 100M$ business.

Responsible for running of country location and D&M service delivery through management of tools, personnel, and base support; Provided advice on well planning, particularly with respect to directional and LWD operations; Implementation of SLB Standards and processes; Able to keep offshore operations running through a period of unrest / evacuation.

Responsible for answering technical questions from the Field; Coordination and verification of knowledge capture / sharing relating to operations and maintenance of MWD systems; Liaison between the ‘Field’ and Engineering functions; Maintenance of InTouch knowledge database.

Primary liaison with client operations management - responsible for efficient coordination of well planning, third party and D&M services with local support teams.
