I also oversaw the company’s legal work and supervised a 25-member department.During my tenure, I:• Enabled double-digit annual revenue growth, a 6x increase in EBITDA, and the company’s expansion from 350 to approx. 1,000 employees by directing the development and execution of strategic financial plans and forecasts.• Orchestrated a substantial debt-financed dividend and 50% a return of capital 18 months after recapitalization by working closely with ownership, lender, and legal counsel.• Ensured the successful acquisition of the company’s largest competitor by securing an all-debt transaction and leading the financial and operational integration teams.• Facilitated the company’s international expansion into Canada and Mexico by overseeing in-country corporate governance setup, including legal structure, accounting, and tax and regulatory compliance.

I was recruited to prepare the company for sale/acquisition and directed the company’s finance, accounting, and cash management operations. I also provided strategic support to the senior executive team.In this role, I:• Positioned the company for growth and acquisition by reengineering the accounting department, recruiting and training new staff, and replacing accounting and reporting systems.• Significantly reduced over 180-day accounts receivable balances by establishing new monitoring metrics and procedures.

I was hired to drive the company’s turnaround and oversaw the finance, accounting, HR, IT, risk management, cash management, banking, and real estate functions.During my tenure, I:• Completed the company’s bank workout, reducing bad debt by 75% and increasing EBITDA to 13%, ROE to 70%, and gross margins to 38%. Actions to achieve this included negotiating new payment terms with international suppliers and securing new banking relationships and financing.• Facilitated PE acquisition of company at 7x EBITDA by acting as primary financial liaison with PE and venture capital firms.• Expanded financial management capabilities by leading the deployment of the Great Plains ERP system, recognized by Microsoft for implementation excellence

I led the corporate finance, accounting, purchasing, and enterprise facility functions.
