ENWL is currently replacing its Network Management System (NMS) platform with a commercial ready-made product supplied by Schneider Electric. My role is to analyze address data from various in-house systems and ready this data for the cleanse team to correct as and where necessary. This data will then be fed into the new NMS platform.My Data Analyst role is paramount to the overall data capital of the business by providing expert data analysis to core company systems. I am responsible for the selection and operation of appropriate software tools and using advanced data techniques. I have currently been given addresses/MPANs as a cleanse issue to which there are over 2.5 million in our region,Also, started to work on Smart Metering sending requests to customers electricity meters via the smart meter gateway to aid in the analysis and forecasting of network demand.Developing new methods and procedures to ensure the team's workflow is managed efficiently and quality assured to be responsible for end to end quality management.Providing specialist knowledge in order to data extract, data analysis, and report for quality checking and provide work necessary for data cleansing.Knowledge of analytical tools such as Alteryx and Excel and enabling further development of IT skills.Expert Knowledge of core company systems such as Ellipse, PGIS, ADQM, SSG, SSI and DADS.Data analysis and presentation of statistics.Very good understanding of electrical symbology and network connectivity within electricity distribution.

To carry out updates and modifications to Electricity North West geographical asset data including realigning underground and overhead electricity assets to modified OS map backgrounds to maintain the integrity and accuracy of geographical data.My Principal accountabilities were:To update the Electricity North West Geographic Information System (GIS)To update new building sites where applicableTo carry out quality checks on spatial dataTo ensure that only data of the required standard is captured on PGIS and in accordance with the PGIS Ops manual•To ensure data is reflected correctly in other appropriate computer systems and databases, eg MAMS/Ellipse and CRMSTo realign assets against modified OS map backgrounds and carry out visual checks of completed workTo participate and assist in additional tasks on an ad-hoc basis which will support the aims and objectives of the section

Key responsibilities:To receive As Laid drawings from electricity engineers and interpret for data quality and accuracy.To update company SATS systems with AS Laid drawing information and create work packs for the Data Maintainers.Other Ad Hoc administration duties.
