Gorgon Stage 2 Project

- Project Engineer managing all aspects of planning, purchasing, fabrication and execution activities of offshore Engineering CAPEX/OPEX projects to maintain and enhance base production facilities (~30,000 bbls/day).- Responsible for building a collaborative team environment between the Engineering Contractors and Company Project Team (Construction, Process, Subsea, Operations, FE and Systems Engineering). - Develop P10/50/90 cost estimates in addition to Scope of Work packages for FEED and Detailed Design phases. Present support package justifications to Asset Team and Partners for AFE approval. - Become familiar with relevant industry and company specific engineering standards, principles and concepts then apply as necessary to project design. - Review all engineering documentation to ensure they are accurate, comply with project specifications & standards and ensure they are fit for purpose prior to approving for build. - Engage with high and low-level stakeholders alike to clearly communicate project value drivers, project status and risks as the project progresses. - Demonstrated ability to continually drive contractor performance to realize project milestones, schedule and budget. - Proven track record of delivering incident and injury free operations on execution of all offshore projects. Lead by example on demonstrating key safety behaviors such as Stop Work Authority. - Lead all Factory, Integration and Site Testing during manufacture and prior to offshore mobilisation. Ensure all punch list items are documented and effectively closed out prior to final hook up and commissioning activities. - Manage all offshore Installation & Commissioning activities and ensure any initial change and subsequent deviations are adequately captured via the Chevron Management of Change Process. Record all ‘as-built’ documentation and ensure these are updated and issued accordingly.

- Engineering focal point for major North Sea offshore asset. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the integrity of all subsea and topside related facilities equipment.- Provide reactive support to production outages attributed to facilities engineering equipment. Lead and develop investigations into equipment failures and propose / implement recommendations for production efficiency opportunities.- Work collaboratively with Operations, Drilling & Completions, Production, HES and wider FE teams to realize Business Unit targets and objectives. - Plan, lead and execute multiple workscopes and manage teams of contractors through to completion. Help develop and review contractor work packs as well as lead and endorse the Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRAs).- Act as Management of Change (MOC) Owner for all necessary engineering changes. Manage MOC from inception through to close-out using company approved tools and processes. - Generate annual OPEX budgets, spend forecasts and report accurate monthly accruals with Finance and Asset Teams. Appropriately manage spend on production / integrity critical asset support.- Demonstrate key company principles in delivering results safely and in the right way by hosting Incident Free Operations (IFOs), pre-mobilisation meetings and post offshore wash ups. - Create and manage vendor contracts supporting existing and future assets through to end of field life. Develop such contracts in conjunction with local and global category management groups.

- Gathering data from the drilling and completion phase of the subsea wells to compile Well Log Books detailing each well’s operating envelope, intervention history, and design & construction data.- Responsible for creating spreadsheet data for MAASP calculations, cementing record, cased hole sections and fluid summaries.- Visit the various vendors’ yards to gain an appreciation for subsea well intervention equipment such as risers, subsea trees, EDP / LRP assemblies as well as casing and tubing repair and manufacturing processes.- Learn the key principles and drivers for well design such as casing setting depths and burst / collapse thresholds. - Develop an understanding of the intervention required to bypass the existing SCSSV for future well stimulations.

- Create technical drawings to a high standard of detail to allow for the construction and fabrication of commercial and domestic steel structures.- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (2-D) and StruCAD (3-D) to create General Arrangement & Detail drawings.- Ensure construction drawings meet the design and specification set out by government building standards and HSE.- Work in collaboration with project services and local authority to ensure deliverables are met on time and to client’s specification.- Perform site visits during the construction phase of the project to ensure project is executed as per the drawings / procedures.- Manage and prioritise workload to best serve multiple clients and projects.- Maintain traceability of all drawing and procedures ensuring engineering changes are incorporated in formal issue of drawing packs.
