I am currently working for NMR as a welder fabricator . I am looking at getting back into the marine sector to put my experience skills and knowledge back into something that I thrive on doing. I had worked my way up from the bottom of the ladder from deck to master of tugs sailing around the coast completeing contracts on sea defences, etc towing barges and ships. I would now like to take charge of marine projects as a marine supervisor or superintendent dealing with clients and running the site with equipment and man power which is what I was doing before I left Red 7 marine before coming a shore . I'm looking for a more shore based position. I worked for Red 7 Marine for nearly 8 years when they very first started as Haven Ports with only 12 workers. They then built up to one of the biggest Marine company's out there now with jack up rigs, DP vessels , work boats and a sub sea diving side.My Role was a boat Master as i hold my BML,then went on to being a barge Master on big flat top cane barges, then to a Marine supervisor running big contracts. The contracts that i had to look after were dealing with all the health and safety, lift plans, the main clients, meetings with contractors and having my input and ideas for better running of the marine side and logistics.
