CurrentMy principal professional experience is in Procurement and Supply Chain Management: During my various roles within the Supply Chain management and Project roles at the DWP, I have been responsible for Supplier Relationship Development with strategic Tier 1 & 2 Suppliers, including Accenture and Oracle; Authorship of the Procurement Strategy governing key hardware and software procurement channels; Supplier engagement/coordination of project product contribution and completion;Cross-programme collaboration to aggregate requirements and secure consistent and optimal arrangements to deliver project objectives to time, cost and quality parameters; compiling and presenting reports at Programme Governance Gates; Leading on the management and implementation of action plans to clear impediments to critical path delivery.Assisting in the compilation of other products to support the procurement process.In addition, and more recently, I have been involved in the Governance and Planning arrangements for projects and programmes to ensure that a robust, cohesive and continuous improving planning process is applied to business and project planning activity in an effective, disciplined and visible manner
