I graduated in English and Journalistic Studies and went on to teach English to students of all ages in Japan.My students reviewed me very positively as a very supportive teacher.Upon returning to England, I have undertaken a masters degree in Computing Science, during which I became proficient with a number of coding languages such as - Java- Latex- R- Python- Javascript- PHP- C#- SQLI also became comfortable with software such as Unity, Git, Visual Studio Code, and MySQL. The projects I undertook on this course also improved my skills in iterative development, group software development using the SCRUM framework, and research skills within a group.A dissertation module was part of my course, this was a 10000 word project that also involved a piece of research. the research subject I chose was 'Exploration into how Twitch integration affects a streamer’s experience', and as part of this research I developed a turn-based RPG game with open exploration and collection elements.Following this, I have participated in a 'Game Development' course, learning core skills in the developmental process of videogames, including:My goal is to search for stable employment in the London area, relevant to my development and programming experience, I believe I can be a strong addition to any company looking for a determined and motivated employee with a driven and astute personality.
