In his this role I build on the services provided to nonprofit arts organizations with the aim to engage more individual artists, new arts audiences, and partnerships across the private, foundation, and civic sectors.

An in-demand lecturer and consultant in the field of opera and arts education. Current projects include:Opera Boot Camp at the Cosmopolitan Club of New York City- From 2013-2020 I co-developed and planned a 16-lecture series, divided over a fall and spring semester. These lectures served as a classroom companion for operas presented by the Metropolitan.

Greater New York City Area

• Oversaw all aspects of the Guild’s Education Department, this included all K-12 school programs and Community Engagement and Adult programming. Key Accomplishments
• During my tenure, I guided a team who reached over 121,300 students in the Guild’s K-12 school programs.
• With support from the US Department of Education and the New York City Department of Education, successfully oversaw the Guild’s arts integration research project COBALT (Comprehensive Opera-Based Arts Learning and.
• Oversaw implementation and creation of all community programming and lectures presented by the Guild (typically 50-75 programs a season). I expanded our programming to include the Community Voices Choir, a non-audition.
• Served as Executive Producer for Online Learning for Opera Lovers, an online learning platform. Launched in the Spring of 2019, this platform served students in 41 states and 14 countries.
• Oversaw the creation and served as the co-host for the Metropolitan Opera Guild Podcast, available on Soundcloud, iTunes and Google Play music. In the first two years we achieved over ½ million individual listens of.

Greater Nashville Area, TN

• Oversaw all administrative and artistic aspects of the Education department. This also included oversight of all aspects of the Mary Ragland Young Artist Program, Internship Program and Fellowship program with Graduate.
• Increased the number of outreach and speaking engagements, setting a new record in 2009 in reaching over 36,000 people with these programs.
• Served as Stage Director for Hansel and Gretel, which served as Nashville Opera’s first mainstage production to be presented at the Noah Liff Opera Center and the first mainstage production to regionally tour outside.
• Served on the Grant Review panel for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
• Worked with Nashville Public Schools and the Metropolitan Opera’s HD Live in School Program, providing professional development workshops and materials for teachers and pre-performance workshops with participating.
• Increased collaboration with local arts organizations, institutions, schools and communityorganizations.

• Oversaw all administrative and budgetary aspects of the Youth Opera Chorus program and the day-to-day operations of rehearsals and performances.Key Accomplishments
• Oversaw the expanded creation of educational materials for student matinee performances and presented teacher workshops for those performances.
• Served as producer for two of the annual Youth Opera production featuring over 80 singers, ages 10-18. This included oversight of fee negotiation and contracting for professional technical and artistic staff connected.
• Led the Youth Opera Chorus on its first European Tour.
• Expanded collaborations with state and county arts education organizations, arts institutions, schools and community organizations.
