- The key objective of the position is to provide financial support to the EMEA Leadership Team (ELT) based in Bracknell. This includes reporting and challenging cost management performance (cost base of c.€140m), risks and opportunities, and supporting the design and delivery of functional sponsored projects (c.€60m).- Monthly presentation of P&L results to FP&A Director of HQ & Projects and EMEA FP&A team. This includes month and balance of year variances against Plan and previous forecast, explanation of the FX impacts on EBITDA, and explanation of quarterly results phasing.- Preparation of annual and monthly forecasts for all Central entities. Bi-annual presentation of forecasts to International President, International CFO, International HR Director and EMEA Managing Director. Prepare Long Term Plan assumptions for consolidation within the International submission to Group.- Provide financial support to all functional ELT members, and their direct reports, to ensure tight cost management procedures for functional spend. Proactively identify risks and opportunities to help functions achieve their plans and forecasts- Develop and motivate the team to drive financial insight and a strong culture of business partnering. This includes the development of Projects: initial business requirements, PAR creation (implementation costs, on-going EBITDA and rationale), tracking of project delivery, and post implementation reviews.- Responsible for controls related activities: year-end audit queries, SOx audit, HQ Delegation of Authority and quarterly Balance Sheet interrogation. Support EMEA FP&A with hedging strategies for FX risks to the business.

- Responsible for the annual Plan, quarterly forecasting and analysis of the central IT cost centres (P&L c.£31m, Capex £9m).- Monthly review of the IT P&L and Capex spend issuing corrections to the shared service centre.

- Responsible for the forecasting and analysis of the Finance, Fleet, Commercial, Group Operations, Central cost centres and balance sheet. This involves monthly analysis of actuals, quarterly forecasting and annual plans.- Monthly full P&L review versus forecast- Produce monthly cash forecasts for central entities and group intercompany

- Preparation and review of full P&L and Balance Sheet for AspenTech UK, Bahrain and France (previously also for Belgium and Sweden). This includes reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, transfer pricing calculations, payroll booking, VAT declarations, intercompany, revaluations/translations, bad debt provisions and tax provisions.- Produce quarterly cash forecasts and maintain weekly to ensure sufficient US funding.- Liaise with tax advisors to ensure local GAAP compliance.- Produce all corporate reporting on Fixed Assets for EMEA.

- Prepare “Daily Revenue Report” indicating worldwide Orders/Volumes/Revenue for management.- Responsible for the submission of the yearly budgets for the overheads + R&D area (c.$34m).- Track R&D projects for new products, both new drinks designs and vending machines.

- UK VAT returns, EMEA Fixed asset reporting, intercompany, accruals/prepayments, payables.
