Responsible for:- Leading a crew of 22 amateur sailors on the world’s longest yacht race.- Management of all aspects of crew and yacht safety.- Acting as a brand ambassador for De Lage Landen and Clipper Ventures.Key Achievements:- Successfully achieved six podium leg finishes.- As a result of demonstrated leadership qualities was recruited directly by De Lage Landen as a Programme Manager for their Leadership development programme.

Responsible for:- Establishing and managing a sailing events company with consultancy, to deliver leadership, team and personal development programmes to corporate clients.Key Achievements:- Developed & delivered leadership and coaching programme for companies, including, Barclays Bank, Barclaycard, Yum Group, Wal-Mart Stores, Honda, JLR etc.- Preparing and conducting seminars on ‘Inspirational Leadership’ to executives and executive committees.- Delivering ‘After Dinner’ speeches on leadership and building high performance teams.

Responsible for:- Building and managing a team of 10 International Relationship Managers, working within the small to medium corporate banking marketplace.- Organisational management including recruitment, displacement, performance management, relationship building, including reaching out and coaching to deliver creative business solutions.Key Achievements:- Attained annual growth in excess of 30%. - Managed a newly created sales team within International Banking, which through coaching and development formed a high performing team changing behaviours and achieving tangible results, which improved their businesses from fourth nationally of five regions to second within six months.

Responsible for:- Skipper of one of 12 yachts racing the wrong way around the world against prevailing winds and currents whilst leading a crew of 18 amateur sailors over 11 months, in the ultimate test of the Global Challenge Yacht Race. - Responsible for the total management and safety of the yacht and crew.- Working closely with Barclays, the yacht sponsor as Brand Ambassador.Key Achievements:- Selected out of 320 candidates to become one of the Global Challenge Skippers- Youngest Yacht skipper on ‘the world's toughest yacht race’ - Successfully completed the Global Challenge finishing second overall, including three podiums after seven legs and winning one leg. - Only yacht to start and finish with the same crew
