After a number of years in the external sales team I have opted for a change in direction, back to my Engineering roots. In my new role as Senior Lab Engineer I shall be working in the large, modern and AMCA accredited development laboratory located within the Colchester factory. The lab has two key functions; the development and testing of new products.

As Business Development and Key Account Manager I have been working hard to increase our market share and achieve financial growth for the company. This involves the development of new products as required by the industry and building key customer relationships based on true value for both parties. I have to work very closely with the internal teams at all.

Well, after 4 years in the Sourcing world I have decided to pursue an opportunity back in the Sales industry as Export Area Sales Manager. This will involve taking good care of our new and existing customers in territories where FläktWoods currently have no direct manufacturing or company sales units. First area of focus will be Eastern Europe. New.

My specialities as a Commodity Buyer are motors, drives and controls. My 9 year background in Electrical Engineering gives me a solid background in the design and manufacture of AC asynchronous electric motors and a good technical understanding. Coupled with 12 years in various Sales roles this gives me an in-depth knowledge of what customers in the.

Various internal sales positions over the years. It all began with OEM Sales Engineer with a focus on selling fan solutions engineered to match physically, aerodynamically and acoustically with a customers equipment. I have worked in both home and export markets covering the diverse product range we offer in it's entirety.

At the time, our company manufactured motors up to 112 frame in house. I was involved in all aspects from electrical design through to management of the winding cells. I also worked closely with our customers on the specification, installation and maintenance of our fan equipment.
