DeltaFM provide facilities management, construction, and project management services to the private, defence, offshore, and resources industries.As Trainer Assessor and HSEQ Coordinator, I provided safety leadership, training, and assessment services to a multi-disciplinary trades team tasked with managing 1,400+ BHP Billiton-owned properties in Port Hedland.Here, I directed a small team of HSE professionals, conducted TapRoot incident investigations, and updated the incident reporting database. I developed and implemented safety-related programs, building in a focus on reinforcing safe work behaviours.Additionally, I completed 2-day onboarding inductions for all new starters, as well as contractor inductions. The HSE training I delivered covered topics such as asbestos awareness and manual handling, fatigue management, risk assessment, and Take 5s. I also provided light vehicle and isolation training for electricians, refrigeration mechanics, and plumbers, amongst other trades.I liaised closely with production and maintenance teams to facilitate cross-departmental implementation of safety and training projects.

During this time, I was hired directly by industry leaders Ashley Training, Aus-Com Training, Macmahons, and Ceva Vehicle Logistics. I delivered course work encompassing both corporate qualifications as well as the full suite of non-technical, site-based certifications for key clients such as FMG and other major mining and construction companies. The corporate training courses I provided included a Diploma of Business and a Certificate IV in Front Line Management.At Macmahons and Ceva Logistics, I also worked in Operator and Trade Assistant roles.

The Rio Tinto Group is a $50 billion multinational metals and mining corporation, with around 68,000 employees.Here, I created a framework to monitor standards and quality site-wide. I also filled in for all non-technical training requirements. My responsibilities included reviewing the onboarding process, conducting training needs analysis, identifying gaps, and updating the induction program for each specific area. I formulated and delivered the West Angelas 4-day induction, inclusive of Lockholders/PIO, HSE (Iron Ore Essentials), fatigue management, and driving training. I also managed contractors, and facilitated external auditing of contractor packages, proposals, and availability.Furthermore, I conducted Taproot investigations, and managed investigations and judicial proceedings. Mentoring Area Trainers was also within the job purview; I provided on-the-job training and strategic input on ways to ensure training compliance.In addition, I complied with all corporate and client reporting requirements, and ensured strict adherence to legislative requirements, as well as corporate work practices and procedures.

Saferight is one of Australia's leading safety training providers and manufacturers of height safety, confined space, and rescue equipment.As Safety Trainer, I planned, developed, and managed safety training packages, which I delivered both at remote mine sites and in corporate office environments. Whilst working with Saferight, I had the opportunity to provide an extensive range of training packages for resources industry majors Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Citic Pacific, Water Corporation, and MMG. I delivered Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Confined Space Rescue, Hot Works, Permit Issuing, 4WD, and Gas Test Atmospheres training. I also acted as a key liaison point with clients to coordinate course works and booking schedules. Furthermore, I collaborated with training teams to ensure the maintenance of accurate and current records and systems.
