IEP was launched at this year's Welfare to Work Conference in Birmingham. My role is to gain membership and develop the services to ensure that IEP becomes a sustainable body and the first choice of membership for Welfare to Work professionals. This is an exciting time for the industry and I'm delighted to be part of something that can make a difference to.

Midlands

• The account director role was an important step forward for Avanta. The role fulfilled three key functions:
• Developed a deeper relationship with Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) at different levels outside of day to day contract management or bidding cycles.
• Ensured that we didn't lose sight of DWP's priorities, through being the 'voice of our customer' within the business.
• Being an honest broker - both between DWP and our operations teams - sometimes delivering some difficult messages about what was and was not working. I was delighted to have accepted this role. My experience of third.

Stuart's first project is to lead on developing a strategic supply chain that will enable Avanta to work in partnership to develop its national footprint delivering a range of quality services to a broad customer base. He is also carring out the duties of regional director of eastern England where Avanta are prime provider of FND 1and are shortlisted on.

• Responsible for the effective operation of multi-site delivery of contracts, projects and social enterprises funded by DWP, JCP, LSC, ESF and local authorities with an annual turnover of 86 million pounds.
• Ensured full profitability, staff recruitment, retention and development, liaison with funders, partners and customers.
• Member of the executive management team reporting to the Trustees. Worked both in and on the organisation, with a workforce of 1100 staff delivering a wide range of services across England, Scotland and Wales.
