Develops content for social media, website, and marketing collateral aimed to grow Surrender Salmon's outreach and increase sales. Surrender Salmon, LLC was founded in 2016 and specializes in direct marketing of wild Alaskan sockeye salmon in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.

I served as Legislative Aide to an Alaska State House Representative. I supported the Representative on numerous legislative committees and budget subcommittees (Labor & Commerce, Military & Veterans Affairs, Corrections budget, Fish & Game budget, and Transportation budget). I also led the office's communications efforts, in addition to the duties below:Managed office of 2-3 staff members in a fast-paced, professional setting.Acted as liaison between the Representative and the public – built and maintained strong relationships with community and business leaders, as well as other legislative offices. Carried legislation, worked across party lines to craft bills and amendments. Researched wide range of fiscal and policy issues to assist with the Representative’s legislative goals. Constituent relations – managed over 200 cases, helped constituents navigate bureaucracy. Analyzed fiscal forecasts and budget documents, prepared budget amendments, and managed capital budget grant requests. Wrote and edited official correspondence, op-ed pieces, press releases, legislative citations, memos, bill summaries, bill sponsor statements, e-newsletters, and quarterly mailers. Administrative duties - calendar, email, answering phones, travel coordination and accounting.
