Phd Student researching modelling strategies for rail network predictability, human performance and chaotic behaviour appraisal as part of Newcastle University's Geospatial Systems CDT.

Working as a Project Engineer on the delivery of Thameslink's Traffic Management Project with a broad portfolio of roles and responsibilities.Responsibilities included Data Configuration Management, Maintenance Strategy and Implementation, System Integration, Site Delivery & Installation, System Architecture, Integration with interfacing external and internal systems. In addition to this I drove Research & Development of the TMS system optimizing system configuration, integration and deployment solutions.I additionally perform data analysis on the timetable of current and future timetables providing insights to support business change and optimization of the Thameslink Timetable.I became a system expert use of the Human Machine Interfaces and technical back-end of the Tranista system, using this knowledge to perform technical demonstrations to various stakeholders. I also supported the deployment of the system in to the client business change and business as-usual processes.

Effectively worked as part of a 3 person team to deliver over 100 events in 8 days as part of the induction week at University of Bath.Worked as part of a cross institution working group, including several sub-groups, of 25 departments to deliver a comprehensive induction experience for new starters at the university.

Created signalling simulators for Network Rail that met required design and safety standards.Produced an Automatic Route Setting (ARS) system for the live railway as part of a small technical team utilising timetable data to provide signalling commands for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
