Having completed doctoral training in 2008, I have an excellent track record relative to opportunity in attracting funding and publishing on qualitative and quantitative research with an emphasis of: 1) innovative approaches to delivery of mental health care; 2) psychological consequences of medical conditions that include cancer, burns and chronic fatigue syndrome; and 3) novel treatments for severe mental illness. My research has been facilitated through the establishment of strong industry links with psychology and other health professionals employed by Alfred Health and a range of other community health or non-government mental health providers.My clinical practice as a neuropsychologist has principally focused on promoting robust assessment of and rehabilitation for patients experiencing a range of neurological and psychiatric disorders.I have a passion for teaching with expertise developed over 9 years as a sessional tutor in research design and analysis as well as experience as a coordinator and sessional lecturer presenting on such topics as psychological and cognitive assessment; psychopathology; and how clinicians can conduct research.
