• Assigned to the AstraZeneca capital project management team responsible for construction through commissioning of the new $100-million research facility to boost work in the infectious disease area and for cancer research at the Boston Process Development and R&D site.• Additional details of all assignments are available on request.

• Project Engineer in the Project Engineering Group managing R&D Lab Expansion and upgrades in the hybridoma studies lab, pulmonary function studies lab, toxicology lab, and cGMP production inoculation labs. Rearrangement of bioreactor support areas and tech support to accommodate new tech staff.• Assignment included support of Abbott Bioresearch Center updates of site specific high purity piping specifications for biotech installations. • Project Manager managing engineers and contractors at the Westborough cGMP Production Site including Physical Plant and Microbiology Labs. Installation of New chiller, cooling tower and BAS, final phase new construction Cx of the site’s New Microbiology Lab Building. Lab calibration of lab equipment, incubators, environmental chambers, and support of the Genomic rapid growth microbiology system included in effort. Geotechnical oversight for building expansion that included new code compliant egress for both R&D Labs and production support areas. - Lead Facility Project Manager on the medical device fill line rearrangement leading cross functional team with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, & Engineering. • Managed projects to support new and expanded facility capabilities for R&D and manufacturing, office / tech support space, and the 11 MW Power Plant. • Facility Construction Projects included: Substations, HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Towers, BAS, Security, Elevator Upgrades, and Pilot Lab / Microbiology Lab upgrades, New Manufacturing Buildings and High Rise Automated Warehouse.• Liaison team member meeting with abutters, local, state, federal agencies, area residents and businesses on issues related to development and/or major impacts from construction projects.
