I started in this industry in 1969 at John G Dean and Co in Balham, South West London, and trained under John Gaston, F.R.I.C.S. accompanying him on Structural Surveys, I changed careers in 1971, moving to Meadway Radio Cars in North West London, an industry where because of the diverse personalities across over 250 drivers and 30 staff, competent people-skills were absolutely essential. I was responsible for recruiting drivers and clients and eventually became Managing Director. I left Meadway in 2001 and returned to Estate Agency, starting my own company, which I sold in 2005. I joined Richard Davidoff as a Property Consultant at the Edgware Branch of Winkworth in October of that year. Fours years later we left the Winkworth franchise and opened the Edgware branch of Aldermartin, Baines & Cuthbert (ABC Estates), swiftly becoming a leading agency in the area, covering Residential and Commercial Sales and Lettings, Property and Block Management across Greater London. Over the years we have achieved excellent results, and I am now an Associate Director.I am also an amateur author and have 5 books published on Amazon. A 6th book is almost complete and will also be published in the near future.
