Responsibilities • Scripting, editing and directing a wide range of programme content • Formatting and structuring television productions in a manner which is engaging and entertaining• Researching locations, artists and designers to facilitate informed decision making• Developing and creating programme ideas within an innovative and results driven team environment • Writing proposals and presenting finding in a succinct and persuasive way to senior executives• Preparing preliminary budgets and schedules for assessment ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times• Liaising with partners of all specialties and levels including senior executives, presenters, lawyers and broadcasters• Managing research and production teams both on location and centrally to ensure maximum productivity is achieved• Delivering technical training when required• Managing studio and location shoots and recording coverage of live events under intense time and budgetary pressure• Booking talent and negotiating access to high profile individuals utilising key relationship building and management skills• Overseeing auditions and casting process and travelling extensively to attend a wide variety of events • Adhering to strict compliance, legal and health & safety directions with consistency and professionalism • Develop an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of all elements of video and post production process
