M&E Estimating Services and Cost Consulting for M&E Contractors, Consultants and Main Contractors

Helping to establish the Mechanical Services side of the company from scratch. Building up a successful Mechanical Services company on the back of the success of the existing electrical company. Over its 10 years the company has grown and succeed to become a prominent player in the Mechanical and electrical Services Industry. My roles include :-Responsibilities include:• Procurement of materials and contractor selection, • Management and supervision of all on site personnel• Monthly contract valuations and monitoring of variations to ensure correct billings to clients.• Responsibility for overall performance delivery including the Service Providers on site, Commercial responsibility for the site account• Design development• Value Engineering• Building supplier networks• Building Subcontractor networks• Visiting clients, sites and using knowledge and experience to win jobs• Using suppliers and product knowledge to purchase at costs needed to compete • Estimation of project materials, labour along with any other additional expenses • Presenting designs and quotations for inspection (and approval)• Management site set up and supervision of all on site personnel• Regular update meetings with clients throughout a project.• Dealing with Technical queries• Commercial responsibility for the site account• Budget development and budget management and financial reporting• Where necessary, assisting clients and our accounts with invoice payments, ensuring the project is completed and profit madeProjects Completed include• Schools and higher education• Student accommodation• Fire and Rescue • Industrial• Commercial• Hospitals• Leisure

Following on from a successful apprenticeship. Took the next step and took my skills to develop my own company. Specializing in the installation of commercial gas and air conditioning installations.
