I was responsible for the management of a large portfolio of accounts held by SME businesses and brokered through a panel of affiliate intermediaries. I managed a portfolio with a value of around £8 million premium earned per year. I was also responsible for the development of my portfolio by up-selling the full Bupa range of products including Dental, Cash Plan, Travel, Health Assessments, EAP and other Occupational Health Services.

I predominately received inbound calls in order to provide an efficient front line service to SME clients, intermediaries and other staff departments. This included day to day roles like to fully investigate and resolve queries, problem & complaint resolution and give the most appropriate advice and guidance, whilst supporting Bupa sale's account managers.

It was my role to establish my clients' requirements for a pre-paid bank account and match the benefits of the account. The enrolment process included ID checks, obtaining documentation where necessary, keeping the client informed and ensuring their income was credited into their accounts.

It was my role to ensure a city centre branch counter with a high footfall ran effectively and efficiently. In order to achieve this I had to ensure all counter staff was fully trained within their roles and to spot opportunities for cross sale with customers. Along with this I had to book keep and deal with high levels of money.
