Core tools development for modem product architecture and design phases; Typically applied on complex simulator platforms. More generally integration of modem tools and automation frameworks to deliver continuous integration path for Modem development engineers. Using the automation to also provide system profiling and extract/data-mine modem KPIs.Tools and techniques applied to both DSP and MCU sub-systems. Interfacing to broad range of skilled teams across the development cycle and modem layers.

Heading the tools team to deliver s/w tools and especially automation tools for regression testing. Multi-site operation with s/w tools engineers in Shanghai, Taipei, Paris and Cambridge.

Application software programmer for debug/visibility and testing of protocol stacks. Main project was the design and development of a high speed DSP logger which is a key debug tool used for our DSP software development. This task involved 3 engineers (including myself) for which I was the team lead.A multitude of tools were provided to test and development engineers during this time. All have been used as part of the core testing and development of the protocol stacks.Tne main programming languages have been C, C++, C#, Java, Perl.Supporting technologies have been: Win32, COM, XML/XSL, SQL, JSP, Lex/yacc.
