• Responsible for a significant FTE saving for the operational business by successfully delivering the Pension Claims Automation programme in time for the Pensions Freedom changes.• Achieved this by managing multiple 3rd party suppliers, collaborating with senior business stakeholders, fastidiously managing budgets, chairing Steering Committees and project meetings with senior stakeholders and leading the project team.• The programme included the successful delivery of systems automation, an infrastructure upgrade, a new target operating model for the operational business and automated customer communication output. • Responsible for the Digital programme which delivered several strategic implementations and enhancements of the online Retirement Planner tool.• One of the implementations was specifically for an important corporate client and was successfully delivered within very short timescales to meet the campaign dates for the client. I achieved this partly by having a strong customer focus as I dealt directly with the client on this delivery. • Managed multiple 3rd party suppliers and facilitated the completion of supplier legal agreements by leading the meetings with the suppliers, their legal representatives and internal teams from the business. • Successfully resolved conflict between business stakeholders which led to a successful outcome for the business. I achieved this by calmly listening to their views, collaboratively identifying pragmatic options and using PowerPoint to present options at Steering Committees where decisions were made with all the stakeholders present.

I obtained a wealth of experience delivering strategic and regulatory business change projects. The experience covered Pensions, Investments, Housing and Protection, Sales and Operational business areas. Projects I was responsible for included product launches, adviser sales systems, 3rd party lender partner microsites, adviser and customer facing investment platforms, adviser contract enquiries, RDR and Auto Enrolment.

My role included the elicitation and documentation of the requirements for the delivery of new website launches to advisers.

My role was a Group wide role and included the management of market research projects for the organisation. This involved 3rd party supplier relationship management and working closely with senior business stakeholders to understand research briefs. I presented findings back to senior management in order to help them make well informed decisions. I also completed the Group’s quarterly new business submission to the ABI and produced market share charts for the Managing Director, which he used in presentations to the Group Board.
