Graduating from the University of Sydney with a degree in Mechatronic Engineering, I spent 12 years growing, owning and operating Simply Sports Cars & Lotus Cars Australia. With a variety of roles and responsibilities that developed over the years, my strengths and focus centred around operations management, product management, technical product sales, and product engineering. Becoming a co-owner of the business in 2013, I also developed acumen in financial management, marketing, HR, and leadership among many other skills that come along with growing a successful business.With the arrival of our son in early 2020, I was fortunate to be in the position to exit the business and become his primary carer. After completing two short term contract roles, I decided to leave the world of petrol powered performance behind me and apply my engineering skills and business expertise in a career shift to the renewables industry. Now in my role as Sales and Business Development Manager for SMA Australia, I'm facilitating the sales process for SMA's innovative and cutting edge technology in utility scale solar and battery projects across Australia and NZ.
